Airmen help Iraqi air force become self-sustaining service
Master Sgt. Bradley Martens explains the proper clearing procedures for landing around obstacles to an Iraqi air force aerial gunner trainee during a training mission May 29 over Camp Taji, Iraq. Gunners are the third eye for helicopter pilots enabling then to see areas that are not in their field of vision from the cockpit, for example the tail rotor.
