New ALS curriculum creates new challenges
Tech. Sgt. Heather McDougall teaches Airmen during Airman Leadership School Dec. 11 at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. Calendar year 2008 marks the beginning of significant changes to the core curriculum of all Air Force Airman Leadership Schools. The changes will affect all aspects of the ALS training regimen. ALS is a 192-hour, 24-academic-day class whose mission is to prepare senior airmen for supervisory duties and foster a commitment to the profession of arms.
