(AFPN) -- Defense Finance and Accounting Service’s Retired and Annuitant Pay office is working closely with national and regional banking and credit union organizations as well as the military services to make certain people affected by Hurricane Katrina have timely and ready access to their pay.Military retirees and annuitants who have relocated or changed banking information, should contact DFAS Retired and Annuity Pay in one of the following ways:-- Call (800) 321-1080, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. EDT. Please should have current address, banking data and beneficiary information available when they call.-- Use myPay to update mailing and banking information. Through myPay, people can change their financial institution and designate direct deposit. For questions about myPay, people can call (800) 390-2348.-- Fax updated information to (800) 469-6559. People should ensure mailing and banking data is complete and they write “Hurricane Katrina” on the top of the page. They should also include a contact phone number if possible.
