Energy underpins every aspect of the Air Force mission. As America’s energy landscape evolves, the Air Force Office of Energy Assurance continually delivers advanced, holistic energy solutions to ensure Airmen can fulfill their mission to fly, fight and win in air, space and cyberspace. OEA, with its team of team of energy experts including engineers, project managers and policy analysts, serves as the single point of entry for all Air Force strategic facility energy and resiliency initiatives.

OEA is excited to introduce a new tool that demonstrates how the team creates the pathway for energy resilience projects. The OEA StoryMap is an interactive web-based platform that visualizes the growth of an energy projects in the Air Force – from requirement identification and conceptual design through the transition to project execution or solicitation. The StoryMap shows OEA’s active engagements, current pilot initiatives and potential future energy-resilience efforts.

As the Air Force’s “resiliency advocates,” OEA ensures that energy projects align with an installation’s specific needs and addresses critical mission requirements. Currently, OEA is exploring resilient energy opportunities at 29 Air Force bases and sites. These engagements often begin with an installation, community or industry partner submitting an idea to the Air Force Energy Storefront – an online platform that streamlines the intake of energy resilience ideas.

Explore the Air Force Energy StoryMap to see how OEA is working to develop innovative solutions to meet today's top energy challenges and ensure a more energy resilient Air Force.
