Balad Airmen celebrate Air Force's birthday
Members of the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing stand at attention as Senior Airman Darren Ruch plays "Reveille" Sept. 18 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. Members of the 332nd AEW, the most forward-deployed Air Force wing in Iraq, held the ceremony in observance of the Air Force's 60th birthday. The wing draws its heritage from the famed 332nd Fighter Group, led by the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, and carries this spirit in operations here. Airman Ruch is assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Joshua Garcia)
