FORT A.P. HILL, Va. -- Retired Lt. Col. Tom Sawner helps Boy Scouts earn an aviation merit badge at the 2005 National Scout Jamboree by helping them understand the job of certified flight instructors. Retired and active-duty Air Force pilots, civilian pilots, certified flight instructors and even a Navy pilot helped nearly 1,000 Boy Scouts earn their aviation merit badge during the 10-day Jamboree.
