Scrub-a-dub-dub

ROYAL AIR FORCE MILDENHALL, England -- Senior Airman Stephanie Smith scrubs the dirt off of a KC-135 Stratotanker at the wash rack here. Wash rack crews clean aircraft to impede corrosive elements, such as salt water, from eating away at an airframe and to prevent dirt and debris from hindering aircraft components from working properly. Airman Smith is assigned to the 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Cecil McCloud)
