POL Airmen help turn C-130 into flying gas station
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Chris Cooper releases the straps holding a 3-inch refueling hose to its rack. He is part of a four-person team that flies missions with the aerial bulk fuel delivery system. The system turns cargo aircraft into mobile gas stations, capable of delivering fuel to any location in the area of responsibility. Sergeant Cooper is from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.
