TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Staff Sgt. Norman Williams checks the ID card of Zach Harlow before he is allowed to access "Base X." Williams is assigned to the 752nd Computer Systems Squadron, and Zach is the son of Senior Master Sgt. Mike and Dorothy Harlow from the 963rd Airborne Air Control Squadron here. Zach and other children of airmen assigned here participated in Operation KUDOS, designed to help "Kids Understand Deployment Operations." They received briefings, processed through a deployment line, received ID cards and dog tags. At "Base X," they received samples of meals ready to eat and toured through tents that house sleeping quarters, kitchens and recreation areas. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman K.L. Kimbrell)
