July 27, 2020 Prince Sultan AB boosts CENTCOM AOR refueling capabilities Just 48 hours before the KC-135 from the 349th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron left Al Udeid Air Base to conduct refueling missions in the region, the 378th ELRS was given a task: To develop, build and sustain a rapid refueling capability at Prince Sultan Air Base. That’s exactly what they did.
March 18, 2020 Projecting Airpower: JSTARS join aircraft utilizing PSAB to modernize employment for future Members of the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System assigned to the 7th Expeditionary Airborne Command and Control Squadron at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, forward deployed to Prince Sultan AB in order to improve its employment capability in the region.

Its ability to provide tactical control of all aircraft was vital to successful accomplishment of the operations such as Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom and the start of Iraqi Freedom.
