    Jointly, these squadrons sharpened their skills to generate, fly and deliver airpower superiority. Airmen implemented agile combat employment concepts in simulated deployed scenarios, testing their proactive and reactive responses with limited personnel and equipment.

  • 435th CTS hosts first full AFFORGEN Silver Flag exercise

    Silver Flag is one of the first Air Force exercise programs to align with the new AFFORGEN deployment model. Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, hosted the Air Force’s first Silver Flag course for its Airmen in the AFFORGEN deployment cycle earlier this year.

  • Mobility Guardian 23 sharpens AFMC’s warfighter support

    Air Force Materiel Command logisticians have worked behind the scenes on Exercise Mobility Guardian 23 since Fall 2022 and are critical to the successful planning and execution of Air Mobility Command’s largest, and arguably most challenging, exercise in years. 

  • Qualification course sharpens security forces skills

    This year-long training event sharpens a variety of technical skills and consists of four training phases and two additional blocks for extra training. Prior to the SFQC, training was limited to a one-day event, which made it difficult to retain firearm proficiency.

  • AMC transitions to MAFFORGEN

    AMC has begun its transition to the new Air Force Force Generation model to increase high-end readiness, improve predictability, and provide a more sustainable and consistent mobility force to meet force presentation requirements in the future fight.
