DENNIS J. CASSETTE

Dennis J. Cassette, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Director of Engineering, Engineering and Technical Management Directorate, Aeronautical Systems Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He provides overall technical management for the development and support of major weapons systems across the aeronautical enterprise at ASC with annual expenditures of more than $10 billion. He is responsible for the proper allocation and expenditure of fiscal and personnel resources while providing engineering and technical management tools to the weapon system program offices charged with developing, fielding and supporting technologically advanced weapon systems.

Mr. Cassette has extensive experience in developing Air Force policy and in the technical management of Air Force systems managed by Air Force Materiel Command. His experience covers technical acquisition and development of aeronautical weapons systems on fighter, bomber and cargo aircraft.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Cassette was Director of Engineering, Propulsion Product Group for ASC, where he was responsible for the technical quality of Air Force programs for the research, development, sustainment and disposal of Air Force propulsion systems.
