Maj. Gen. Kenyon K. Bell is the Commander of the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. As commander, he leads over 6,900 military and civilian personnel who perform depot maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of the A10, C-130, T-38, F-16, F-22, F-35 and the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system. The complex also oversees the national-level airpower reservoir for aircraft storage, reclamation, regeneration and disposal at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. Additionally, the complex produces aerospace commodities that include electronics, avionics, instruments, power systems and software for the assigned weapon systems, and is the landing gear center of excellence for the Air Force. As the commander, his responsibilities extend to operating locations in Japan, Texas, California, Wyoming, North Dakota and Montana. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex directly supports a global supply chain enabling Department of Defense and allied combat operations.
Maj. Gen. Bell received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1995. He has commanded units stateside and overseas at the squadron, group and wing levels. Maj. Gen. Bell has served in multiple staff positions, including assignments at Headquarters Air Force and The Chairman’s Joint Staff, as well as Aide de Camp to the Commander, U.S. Forces Japan, and 5th Air Force.
Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Director of Logistics and Engineering, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command in Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. In that capacity, he was responsible for integrating strategy, policy, resources, performance management and human capital development in support of maintenance, munitions, supply, transportation and civil engineering personnel who serve throughout the command.
