Major General DANIEL T. LASICA

Maj. Gen. Daniel T. Lasica is the Director of Plans, Policy, Strategy and Capabilities, Headquarters United States European Command, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany. As Director, he is responsible to the USEUCOM Commander to formulate and execute military strategy and policy, deliberate planning and security cooperation for command activities within the USEUCOM area of responsibility involving other U.S. Unified Commands, allied and partner military organizations and subordinate commands within the USEUCOM area of responsibility.

Maj. Gen. Lasica received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1994. He has served at the squadron, group, wing, numbered Air Force, Joint Staff and combatant command levels. He has flown combat missions in support of operations Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom and has also supported South Korea defense obligations. Prior to his current assignment, Maj. Gen. Lasica was the Director of Current Operations, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Arlington, Virginia.
