Tornado hits Tinker Published May 9, 2003 TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. (AFPN) -- No one was injured when a tornado hit a fence line along the south side of the base here May 8.Damage also occurred at Gate 29, Marauder Gate, in the vicinity of Douglas Boulevard and 59th Street. Base officials asked spectators to stay away from the damaged area.The base family support center has set up a family call center for family members to find out information concerning people stationed here.
