Tech Report: The F-16 Fighting Falcon

FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. (AFNS) -- The
F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack.
While the airframe itself hasn't changed much since it was introduced in the late 1970's, it's avionics and weapon systems have been continuously upgraded, making this multi-role fighter aircraft just as deadly today as it was nearly four decades ago.
