American, Afghan women join together for tea, discussion
Capt. Heather Kekic shares a traditional greeting with an Afghan woman during an afternoon tea Sept. 5 at Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan. Female Airmen and Soldiers assigned to the Laghman Provincial Reconstruction Team hosted the tea for influential Afghan women living throughout Afghanistan's Laghman province. The tea provides an opportunity for PRT members to educate the local women on humanitarian and security programs in place for them and their communities.
