Master Sgt. John Smith (left) and Mr. John Ring, NATO Air Training Command-Afghanistan advisers, congratulate an Afghan Air Force graduate of the first Afghan Fire Instructor Course during a ceremony Oct. 31, 2013 at Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan. The five-day class was developed by NATC-A advisors and graduated 13 AAF and Afghan National Army firefighters as certified instructors. The graduates can now certify additional firefighters at their home fire stations.
