Airmen load cargo onto a C-17 Globemaster III Sept. 26, 2014, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. The C-17 was used to ship the Air Force’s Expeditionary Medical Support System, a modular and customizable treatment facility designed for austere conditions. Airmen from Langley partnered with representatives from the U.S. Public Health Service to deliver a modular medical treatment center, as part of a government-wide effort to support humanitarian relief operations in Ebola-stricken African nations.
