The 612th Air Base Squadron firefighters facilitated El Salvador’s Autonomous Executive Port Commission airport firefighter qualification by providing live-fires. The Salvadoran airport firefighters have a requirement very similar to the United States standards that requires members of their airport fire departments to be qualified annually on their ability to control a live fire.
