Jonathan Forbes, a neurosurgeon assigned to the 455th Expeditionary Medical Group here, knew he would be deploying from sunny California to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, where he would work at the Craig Joint Theater Hospital (CJTH) -- the busiest hospital in Afghanistan.
