Malmstrom chaplain named Air Force's CGO Chaplain of Year
Chaplain (Capt.) Keith Manry, a 341st Missile Wing chaplain, was recently recognized as the Air Force Chaplain Corps Company Grade Officer Chaplain of the Year for 2014. He was recognized for his work at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, and while deployed to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

The Air Force recently recognized the 673rd Logistics Readiness Squadron's Fuels Management Flight as the best in the Air Force after being named the winner of the 2014 American Petroleum Institute Award.

Total force current, selected master sergeant evaluations close out Sept. 30
Regular Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve master sergeant and master sergeant-select enlisted performance reports will now close out annually on Sept. 30. In addition, as of June 3, master sergeants and selects will no longer receive change-of-reporting-official EPRs.

Chief EPRs to be accomplished on new Form 912
Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard chief master sergeant enlisted performance reports, which close out annually on May 31, are now accomplished on the new Air Force Form 912, Enlisted Performance Report (CMSgt).

New program prepares Airmen, families to bounce back after deployments
Air Force services recently added a new tool to encourage service members and their families who are affected by deployments to participate in morale, welfare, and recreation programs and activities. The “Recharge for Resiliency” (R4R) initiative was designed to help Airmen readjust to life at home and also include families in their reintegration.

AF phases in employees’ injury, illness compensation portal
The Air Force, in conjunction with other Defense Department services, is phasing in the use of the Employees' Compensation Operations and Management Portal (ECOMP), which is intended to eventually replace the current system used to file injury and illness compensation claims.
