Deployed Airmen drop supplies into Iraq
A C-17 Globemaster III and two C-130s from undisclosed locations throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility dropped 72 bundles of supplies, including food and water, to thousands of Iraqis threatened by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant near Sinjar, Iraq, Aug. 7.

Air Force C-130s land at Lielvarde AB for the first time
Three U.S. Air Force C-130J Hercules from the 37th Airlift Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, landed on Lielvarde Air Base, Latvia, June 17, making them the first U.S. Air Force aircraft to land at the newly renovated installation.
