AFTN releases newest 'Today's Air Force'

3/26/2012 - FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. (AFNS) -- Air Force Television News released a new edition of Today's Air Force on March 23.

After a "Straight from the Top" segment, the show kicks off with a feature by Staff Sgt. Chris Pyles on the 50th anniversary of the B-52 Stratofortress. Later, Michelle Michael takes viewers to Dayton, Ohio, for a look at a volunteer program that puts Airmen in the front of the classroom. Finally, Staff Sgt. John Archiquette shares a story about the bond between a doctor and his patients.

Today's Air Force, a 30-minute, weekly news show, can be seen on The Pentagon Channel and American Forces Television Service stations around the world. The show also airs on more than 140 public cable-access stations within the U.S.

- Acting Airmen: Airmen head to the front of the classroom in order to give back to their community
- Angie Johnson: One Airman goes from a viral web sensation to a contestant on "The Voice"
- This week in photos

Block 3
- Dr. Z: The bond between doctor and patients remain a year after the shooting at Frankfurt, Germany
