4/4/2012 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- More than a hundred first lieutenants were selected for promotion to captain during the 2011E Chaplains, Line of the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps Quarterly Captain Selection Process, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced.

Statistical information for the 111 selectees follows:
 
- Chaplains - Zero selected from zero considered for a 0 percent select rate
- Line of the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps: 34 selected from 34 considered for a 100 percent select rate 
- Nurse Corps - 48 selected from 52 considered for a 92.3 percent select rate
- Medical Service Corps - Seven selected from seven considered for a 100 percent select rate
- Biomedical Sciences Corps - 18 selected from 18 considered for a 100 percent select rate
