3/19/2013 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- Of 101 lieutenants considered, 97 were selected for promotion to captain during the 2012E Chaplains, Line of the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps quarterly captain selection process, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced.

Selection statistics are as follows:

In-the-promotion zone:
CHAP - 1 selected from 1 considered; 100 percent select rate
LAF-J -19 selected from 19 considered; 100 percent select rate
NC - 64 selected from 66 considered; 97 percent select rate
MSC -1 selected from 1 considered; 100 percent select rate
BSC - 11 selected from 11 considered; 100 percent select rate

Above-the-promotion zone:
NC - 1 selected from 3 considered; 33.3 percent select rate
