The Air Force seeks innovative Airmen, entrepreneurs, industry experts, engineers and academics to participate in the AFWERX Fusion Challenge to enhance security of fixed, temporary and mobile assets.

The AFWERX Fusion Challenge, which is now accepting submission until May 20th, 2018, is an open innovation collaboration between the Air Force and non-military collaborators in technology, academics, engineering, defense, small business and start-ups.

“We’ve got to innovate to maintain America’s security,” said Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen Wilson. “We’ve created the AFWERX Fusion Challenge to accelerate inventive ideas from garages and labs…in the most collaborative way…and get them to America’s Airmen at the speed of relevance.”

The best submitters will be selected to attend the AFWERX Fusion Xperience in Las Vegas June 20-21, 2018, to present their solutions to military leaders and investors. The event will bring together small business, entrepreneurs, Defense Department and academia to identify innovative solutions to enhance Air Force areas of focus.
