C-17 Reaches Across the Globe
Tech Sgt. Andre Stollenwer, assigned to the 535th Airlift Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, guides a Marine-owned Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle into a C-17 Globemaster III with the aid of Kadena Air Base, Japan, transportation Airmen while at Kadena on Dec. 29, 2008. The vehicle will be taken to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, and moved further in the theater afterward.
