BRIGADIER GENERAL KENNETH R. LAPIERRE

Brig. Gen. Kenneth R. Lapierre is the Mobilization Assistant to the Commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. He assists the Commander in providing operational planning and execution for the Air Force supply chain management and depot maintenance for a wide range of aircraft, engines, missiles, and component items in support of Air Force missions. He supports operations which span three air logistics complexes, three air base wings, two supply chain wings, and multiple remote operating locations, incorporating more than 35,000 military and civilian personnel. In addition, he oversees installation support to more than 75,000 personnel working in 140 associate units at the three AFSC bases.

General Lapierre attended Norwich University and graduated in May 1985. He received his commission as a second lieutenant through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. He entered active duty in August 1985 and served five years on the active-duty Air Force. General Lapierre began his career as a reservist in December 1990.

In his civilian career, General Lapierre is a senior manager with a federal agency located in Atlanta, Ga.
