MAJOR GENERAL FELIX DUPRÉ

Maj. Gen. Felix Dupré is Commander, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. General Dupré reports to the Air Force Chief of Staff regarding the test and evaluation of more than 400 major programs being assessed at 24 different locations. The general directs the activities of more than 1,000 civilian and military people. As a member of the test and evaluation community, General Dupré works directly with the offices of the Secretary of Defense and Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., to ensure realistic, objective and impartial operational testing is conducted on Air Force and joint use systems.

General Dupré was born in Bethesda, Md. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1972. The general has commanded an operations support squadron, a fighter squadron, a fighter operations group and two fighter wings. General Dupré has served in numerous U.S., joint and combined staff positions, and is a command pilot with more than 4,300 flying hours in the F-15 and T-38.
