BRIGADIER GENERAL LARRY ENYART

Brig. Gen. Larry Enyart is mobilization assistant to the Air Force Civil Engineer, Deputy Chief of staff for Installations and Logistics, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He provides advice on matters pertaining to training and equipping the 65,000-person civil engineering Total Force, and for the development, construction, maintenance and environmental quality of Air Force bases worldwide. This responsibility also includes services for housing, fire protection and aircraft crash and rescue, explosive ordnance disposal and disaster preparedness. Additionally, he oversees Total Force members at the Pentagon; the Civil Engineer Support Agency, Tyndall AFB, Fla.; and the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence, Brooks AFB, Texas.

General Enyart was born in Camp Blanding, Fla. He has served as a civil engineer staff officer and director in a number of locations during his career. He is an adjunct professor of architecture and a professional architect in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and Texas, and has been invested in the College of Fellows, the American Institute of Architects, Washington, D.C., and the Academy of Fellows, Society of American Military Engineers, Alexandria, Va. The general has designed and constructed numerous public buildings in the southwest. In his civilian occupation, he is chief executive officer of an architecture and engineering firm.
