CAROLYN M. GLEASON

Carolyn M. Gleason, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Assistant Deputy Under Secretary, Management and Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. She is responsible for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Air Force business operations. She advises Air Force senior leadership on establishing strategic performance goals and managing Air Force-wide, cross-functional activities to meet those goals. She also serves as the Air Force’s Assistant Director of Business Transformation, overseeing implementation of continuous process improvement initiatives Air Force wide.

Ms. Gleason began her career in 1986 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a financial management trainee at the Aeronautical Systems Center. During her career, she has managed both appropriated dollars and revolving funds. She has served at base level, in several program offices, on both product and logistics center staffs and at Headquarters U.S. Air Force. She assumed her current position in April 2019.
