MAJOR GENERAL VINCENT MANCUSO

Maj. Gen. Vincent Mancuso currently serves as the Mobilization Assistant to the Air Force Chief of Staff. In this position he assists the Chief of Staff to develop and implement policy, obtain resources and develop concepts of operation to ensure U.S. Air Forces are properly organized, trained and equipped.

General Mancuso is a command pilot and a command cyberspace operations officer who holds a doctorate in information systems and is a distinguished graduate from the National Defense University’s Information Resources Management College. He recently served as an acting Deputy Director of the Air Staff.

General Mancuso is a 1984 distinguished graduate from ROTC at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, earning his wings in 1986 from the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program, winning distinguished graduate and flying excellence “top stick” honors. He flew 36 combat missions in the F-4G Wild Weasel during operation Desert Storm destroying and degrading several adversary surface-to-air missile systems. He is the founder of the award winning ARCNet system and the CSAF's ARC2Mission initiative to improve Air Reserve Component utilization.
