Brig. Gen. Mark K. Johnson is the Commander, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. As the Commander, he serves 8,600 personnel team responsible for $3 billion in revenue. The complex performs programmed depot maintenance on the KC-135, B-1B, B-52, E-3 and Navy E-6 aircraft; and maintenance, repair and overhaul of F100, F101, F108, F110, F117, F118, F119, F135 and TF33 engines for the Air Force, Navy and foreign military sales. Additionally, he is responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a myriad of Air Force and Navy aircraft components, and the development and sustainment of a diverse portfolio of mission critical software.
General Johnson entered the Air Force in 1988 after graduating from the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Virginia in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. A career Logistics Readiness Officer, he has commanded units at the squadron, group, and wing level, as well as served in logistics staff positions at the major-command, Headquarters U.S. Air Force and joint levels. Prior to his current position, he was the Commander, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation.
