Officials announce aircrew life support award winners

Air Force officials recently announced the 2004 Outstanding Air Force Aircrew Life Support of the Year award winners.
These awards recognize the accomplishments of aircrew life support people and programs.
The 2004 winners are:
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Headquarters Staff Member of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Martin Austin from Air Education and Training Command headquarters at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Officer of the Year: Maj. Michael Price from the 62nd Operations Support Squadron at McChord AFB, Wash.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Gilberto Guzman Jr. from the 2nd OSS at Barksdale AFB, La.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support NCO of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Alec Rehms from the 62nd OSS.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Airman of the Year: Airman 1st Class Amber Hernandez from the 552nd Fighter Squadron at Cannon AFB, N.M.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Civilian (Category I) of the Year: William Starr from the 412th Operations Support Squadron at Edwards AFB, Calif.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Civilian (Category II) of the Year: Edith Redfern from the 361st Training Squadron at Sheppard AFB, Texas.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Civilian (Category III) of the Year: John Aheimer from Air Combat Command headquarters at Langley AFB, Va.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Large Program of the Year: 479th OSS at Moody AFB, Ga.
-- Outstanding Aircrew Life Support Small Program of the Year: 361st TRS at Sheppard AFB.
-- Outstanding Air Reserve Component Aircrew Life Support Senior NCO of the Year: Master Sgt. Charles Ewing from the 123rd Special Tactics Squadron at Standiford Field, Ky.
-- Outstanding Air Reserve Component Aircrew Life Support NCO of the Year: Tech Sgt. Rudy McAllister from the 758th Airlift Squadron at Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Pa.
