Nominees sought for 2014 LULAC award Published Jan. 23, 2014 By Sammie King Air Force Personnel Center Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- The Air Force is seeking nominations for the 2014 League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Excellence Award, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced Jan. 23. The award honors individual civilian employees and military members who supported the Department of Defense mission or overseas contingency operations, or whose activities best demonstrate the core values of their respective military service or agency. Each major command, field operating agency and direct reporting unit may submit two nominations, which are due March 4. The period of performance for this award is from April 2013 through April 2014.
