AF seeks GEICO 2015 Military Service Award nominees Published Aug. 20, 2015 By Janis El Shabazz Air Force Personnel Center Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- Air Force officials are accepting nominations for the 2015 Government Employees Insurance Company Military Service Awards.The annual awards recognize enlisted members from all military service branches, including active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, for their contributions to military and civilian communities.The three award categories are drug and alcohol abuse prevention, fire safety and prevention, and traffic safety and accident prevention. The accident prevention category applies specifically to vehicle or motorcycle related accomplishments.Nomination packages are due to the Air Force Personnel Center by Sept. 11.
