Capt. Christa Lothes hands donated materials for a sewing class to a local Afghan woman Sept. 5 at Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam in Afghanistan. The women were attending an afternoon tea hosted by Female Airmen and Soldiers assigned to the Laghman Provincial Reconstruction Team for influential Afghan women living throughout Afghanistan's Laghman province.
