USSTRATCOM, German air force sign liaison officer agreement
U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Clinton Crosier (left), the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) director of plans and policy, and German Luftwaffe (air force) Brig. Gen. Burkhart Prototzky, the department head and head of the Luftwaffe Operations Center, meet for the signing of a memorandum of agreement in Uedem, Germany, June 1, 2017. The MoA authorizes, for the first time, the assignment of a German liaison officer to USSTRATCOM’s Joint Functional Component Command for Space under the Multinational Space Collaboration effort. The MSC will explore mutual capabilities and identify opportunities for greater integration by colocating additional allies and partners with U.S. space operators.
