1/31/2011 - SAN ANTONIO (AFNS) -- In this edition of Today's Air Force, you'll be taking a trip down South. Way down South, to the South Pole, where you will get an inside look at how Airmen are supporting scientific research in Antarctica. See how pilots take off and land in the snow and ice, and find out what it takes to survive in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth. Catch it all as you visit Operation Deep Freeze, this week on Today's Air Force.
The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel and American Forces Television Service stations around the world. The show also airs on more than 140 public cable-access stations within the United States. 2/1/2011 4:14:25 AM ET I would realy like to view these video's. Why is there no link to them? I am a member of the 109th AW who goes to Antarctica every year and would like to view what my fellow Airmen are doing while I am deployed.
