6/23/2011 - SAN ANTONIO (AFNS) -- In this edition of "Today's Air Force," Airmen from the North Carolina Air National Guard head to New Mexico to help fight fires there. And, Air Force Academy officials flip the switch on their newest power source. Plus, Airmen at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., test new brakes for the C-130 Hercules. You'll see those stories and much more this week on Today's Air Force.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel and American Forces Television Service stations around the world. The show also airs on more than 140 public cable-access stations within the United States.
