6/27/2011 - WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- A Department of Defense official announced June 27 the death of an Airman who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Tech. Sgt. Daniel L. Douville, 33, of Harvey, La., died June 26 as a result of injuries suffered from an improvised explosive device on the border of the Nad 'Ali district of Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 96th Civil Engineer Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
