9/4/2012 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- More than 100 officers were named to the medical squadron command candidate list during the 2012 summer developmental teams, Air Force Personnel Center officials said.

Command matches are expected to be released in mid- to late-December, said Lt. Col. Mary Ann Behan, medical force management branch chief, but candidates will be considered for command opportunities throughout 2013.

Behan encouraged candidates who missed recent informational webinars to visit the medical knowledge exchange site at https://kx.afms.mil/medsqcc to view the slides and other information.

In addition to the regularly updated list of candidates, the site includes information on command vacancies, briefing slides with guidance on how the selection process works.

For additional information about medical command and other opportunities, contact the medical force management branch at afpc.dpamf@us.af.mil. For information about other personnel issues and opportunities, go to the myPers website at https://mypers.af.mil.
