3/5/2013 - FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. (AFNS) -- The March issue of Airman magazine is now available to download. In this issue, our cover story, titled "100 Years of Flying," tells the story of the Air Force's oldest flying unit, the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron, and follows the unit from its early days of Pancho Villa and the Wright brothers to a century that includes the U-2, SR-71 and RQ-4 Global Hawk. There's also a feature that follows an Air Force veterinarian as he helps the nation of Mongolia, and an article that has an international flavor, highlighting multinational technical school students through the Air Force. Read more about stories from "Around the Air Force" and download the March issue of Airman magazine for your tablet here:
