MAJOR GENERAL ROBERT B. STEPHENS Maj. Gen. Robert B. Stephens is mobilization assistant to the Deputy Commander, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. General Stephens was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Georgia in 1967. He has commanded a squadron and wing, and was mobilization assistant to the Vice Commander, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, and to the Commander, Air Force Recruiting Service. He was Vice Commander of Headquarters 4th Air Force and, prior to assuming his current position, mobilization assistant to the Commander of the Tanker Airlift Control Center, Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, Ill. He is a command pilot with more than 6,500 military flying hours, including more than 350 combat hours, and 13,500 civilian flying hours.
