Major General SCOTT M. HANSON Maj. Gen. Scott M. Hanson is the Director of Operations, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He is responsible for policy and procedures for worldwide air operations and transportation functions assigned to the command. These functions include cargo and passenger movement, Civil Reserve Air Fleet, air traffic control, C4 support systems, aircrew training and standardization programs.General Hanson earned his commission in 1984 as a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School. A command pilot with more than 3,600 flying hours, the general has previously commanded at the detachment, squadron and wing levels.
