BRIGADIER GENERAL ROBERT R. REDWINE Brig. Gen. Robert R. Redwine is the mobilization assistant to the Commander, 24th Air Force and Air Force Network Operations, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. General Redwine was commissioned through Officer Training School in 1985 and assigned as an intelligence officer. He also served on active duty as a space and missile officer performing more than 100 Minuteman II alerts. General Redwine transferred to the Air Force Reserve in October 1994 and served as a missile staff officer on the U.S. Strategic Command staff. In 1998, he returned to the intelligence career field working at several Air Intelligence Agency positions. In 2001, the general was the acting Vice Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Space Command Combined Intelligence Center. Following mobilization in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, General Redwine became an intelligence planner participating as a member of the Implementation Planning Team for the standup of U.S. Northern Command. While serving as the individual mobilization augmentee to the Director of Intelligence, U.S. Central Command Air Forces, General Redwine deployed four times to serve as the acting USCENTAF Director of Intelligence (Forward) during operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Prior to his current assignment, General Redwine was Assistant Director, Intelligence, Headquarters U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany. In his civilian career, he is an attorney.
