RANDALL D. CULPEPPER

Randall D. Culpepper is the Program Executive Officer for Combat and Mission Support, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Washington, D.C. He provides leadership in the acquisition of Air Force services and is responsible for a portfolio of more than $155 billion in existing and planned contracts across the Air Force. He provides oversight for acquisition planning, competitive selection processes and performance-based acquisition, and ensures deployment of proper management controls for service acquisitions and advises the Senior Acquisition Executive on all matters related to service providers.

Mr. Culpepper entered Federal Service in October 1984 under the PACER Produce Program. He was later competitively selected as a COPPER CAP intern as well as to a Program Management Career Broadener position. He has held a variety of research and development, weapons system logistics, and systems acquisition roles. These include principal contracting officer for the Tunner Loader Program and QF-4 Full Scale Aerial Target Program. He also served as the Deputy Chief of the Munitions Contracting Division of the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Prior to his leadership roles within PEO/CM, Mr. Culpepper served as the Deputy Chief of Contracting Operations on the staff of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Contracting. He provided technical leadership to all acquisition programs across the Air Force to include the final KC-46A source selection.
