Brigadier General ROBERT W. CLAUDE

Brig. Gen. Robert W. Claude is the Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, Headquarters United States Space Command, Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. He serves under the authority, direction, and control of the U.S. Space Command commander in defending U.S. and allied interests in the space domain while providing space-enabled combat effects to joint warfighters around the world. He shares responsibility for more than 18,000 Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, and Guardians operating ground and space-based systems who provide satellite communication, space domain awareness, offensive and defensive space control effects, and position, navigation, and timing services. He is also the senior Reserve officer on the staff and serves as the commander’s principal advisor on planning, coordination, and employment of Reserve forces.

Brig. Gen. Claude earned his commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1991. He is a career Space and Cyber officer with over 30 years of service.

Brig. Gen. Claude has commanded one squadron, served as wing vice commander, and has held numerous staff positions at the unit, major command, service headquarters and combatant command levels. Prior to his current position, Brig. Gen. Claude served as the MA to the Director of Operations, Training, and Force Development, USSC, Schriever SFB, Colorado.
