Ms. Brandy D. Gorham, a Defense Intelligence Senior Level Leader, is the Technical Advisor for the Director of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Ms. Gorham provides guidance to over 800 Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System and military personnel supporting AFMC’s science and technology, acquisition, test, sustainment, nuclear enterprise, and installation management efforts. She is the principal technical advisor and expert on intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and acquisition intelligence to the AFMC Director, ISR. She provides strategic vision, planning, and direction for all ISR matters and provides senior leadership and strategic vision for the AFMC acquisition intelligence workforce.
Ms. Gorham began her government service as an intern at Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Supply Center Columbus. After this internship, she went on to the engineering undergraduate and graduate program at Washington University in St. Louis. Here she did her master’s work at Scott AFB, providing tanker employment optimization.
Prior to her current assignment, Ms. Gorham served for 13 years in multiple roles at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Most recently she served as the team lead for the Transformational Capability Office’s Strategic Portfolio Team where she developed challenge problems leading to integrated system of systems technology solutions. During her time at AFRL, she served as the Deputy Capability Lead for Global Integrated ISR. In this position, she was responsible for creating and developing the long-term strategy across AFRL to advance the state-of-the-art for ISR technology to meet the diverse and highly complex capability needs of various major commands, AF/A2 and AF Futures. She also served as the Advance Battle Management System Sensor Integration Category lead. In this position, she was responsible for integrating sensors into the ABMS family of systems.
